Support ziyana in sponsoring the Emergency Surgery of Priyanshi !
Hi,
I am Ziyana Mehta raising funds for the treatment of 2.5 years baby girl named Priyanshi. She is suffering from Congenital dermal sinus. It is an uncommon form of cranial or spinal dysraphism. It is a birth defect that creates infection in a body of a child.
Due to the defect,Little Priyanshi gets recurrent episodes of infection, as per treating doctors the child's need surgery without surgery infection can reach to her brain and permanately damage the part or in other words can be fatal if left untreated.
Priyanshi parents are economically backward, her father is a daily wager lost his job in pendemic and mother is a homemaker. The family is poor and consulting doctors at AIIMS Hospital, Delhi where hospital demanded Rs. 38,500 ( including supportive care and nutrition) . The same surgery will cost between 3-4 lacs in any private hospital. Doctors planned the surgery on 18th August but in the absence of funds her father not able to take admission.
Her father is unemployed and cannot afford single penny for his daughter's treatment.
After seeing her condition doctor has referred her for surgery as early as possible. The family cannot afford the aforesaid expenses and need help.
