Help 4 year anas in his heart surgery
4-year-old Anas Niture suffers from Atrial Septal Defect (ASD)- it is a congenital condition where there is a hole in the wall between the two upper chambers of the heart (atria) and needs to undergo urgent heart surgery.
When he had a fever in December, his family never dreamed that it would actually turn out to be a serious heart condition. When Anas was playing, his father noticed that he was getting tired much quicker than usual. At home, his mother noticed that he was eating less and took him to the doctor. The doctors said that he had a fever and he was given a few medicines.
The New Year arrived and brought along with it new beginnings, but Anas's health did not get better. He was unable to keep up his energy whilst playing and he completely lost his appetite. His parents grew worried and took him to Aiims , Delhi as the family lives in a small village of Jharkhand and there is no special hospital available in his area. After running a few tests the doctors delivered earth-shattering news to the family.
Hearing the news that their son has a heart defect made ahmad and his wife go numb from within. The doctors informed them that heart surgery would be required to cure their son’s ASD and as the condition of the child was serious the doctors at AIIMs inspite of long waiting que gave the surgery date of 21st Feb,2024 and asked for a subsedized amount i.e 1 lakhs for the surrgery.
Anas father works as a electrician and earns bearly minimum of 5k a month. He sold whatever he had but he couldnt arrange the cost of surgery. Anas is living a difficult life.
