Dil Se Mehek is raising funds for three-year-old Virat is facing a life-threatening condition known as Severe Aortic Stenosis (AS), a serious form of heart valve disease. This condition occurs when the aortic valve, one of the heart’s four crucial valves, becomes narrowed and obstructs the flow of blood from the heart to the rest of the body.
In a healthy heart, the aortic valve opens and closes freely, allowing oxygen-rich blood to flow from the left ventricle (the heart’s main pumping chamber) into the aorta, which distributes blood throughout the body. In severe AS, the valve becomes stiff and narrowed due to congenital defects, which is likely the case with Virat. This narrowing forces the heart to work much harder to push blood through the valve, leading to strain on the heart muscle. Over time, this can result in reduced oxygen delivery to vital organs and tissues.
At such a young age, Virat’s body is extremely vulnerable to the effects of severe aortic stenosis. Some of the key symptoms Virat experiences include:
Without immediate treatment, severe aortic stenosis can lead to life-threatening complications, including heart failure and sudden cardiac arrest. Virat’s heart is working overtime, and over time, this can cause irreversible damage if left untreated.
The only effective solution for severe aortic stenosis is surgical intervention. For Virat, this involves either aortic valve repair or replacement, depending on the condition of his valve. In his case, the doctors at AIIMS Hospital in Delhi have recommended urgent surgery to correct the obstruction in his valve, allowing his heart to function normally.
Virat’s Symptoms and Risks

Virat’s father, Mukesh, is doing everything he can to save his son. As a driver, Mukesh works long hours, but his income is far from sufficient to cover the Rs. 45,000 needed for the surgery. While AIIMS Hospital offers excellent medical care, the cost of the treatment is beyond his reach. The AIIMS also decided to do the surgery on 11-11-24. Virat’s condition grows more critical with each passing day, and without immediate surgery, his life is at risk.
Virat is a bright, cheerful child, full of love and life. He dreams of growing up strong, playing with his friends, and one day going to school. But right now, those dreams are slipping away because of his heart condition. As his father, I feel helpless. My greatest fear is that I will lose him because I cannot afford the treatment that could save him- Said Mukesh ( Virat Father).
He needs help to raise the Rs. 45,000 required for Virat’s surgery. Dil Se Mehek is raising funds for the surgery. Every rupee you donate will bring us closer to giving Virat a chance at life. No amount is too small, and your kindness will give the family the hope we desperately need during this difficult time.
Please help Little Virat. Your generosity can make all the difference. Thank you from the bottom of our heart for taking the time to read our story and for any support you can offer.
With deep gratitude,
