This is Adya, a tender, bright-eyed 5-year-old who should be out there playing in the sun, chasing butterflies, and laughing without a care in the world. Instead, she spends her days feeling tired, breathless — and wondering why her little heart doesn’t work like everyone else’s.
Adya was born with a hole in her heart — a condition called Atrial Septal Defect (ASD). While most kids her age run free, Adya often watches from the sidelines, her tiny hands clutched over her chest, her breath coming in short gasps. Her doctors have given hope: a simple but critical surgery can fix her heart. The ASD Device Closure is scheduled for 14th May 2025 at AIIMS Hospital, Delhi— just weeks away. This procedure could give Adya a second chance at childhood. A chance to live.
But there’s a heartbreaking problem: Her family cannot afford the ₹1,00,000 needed for the surgery.
Her father works as a delivery boy, going door to door with heavy bags and tired feet, earning just enough to cover rent and meals. He carries parcels on his back by day and the unbearable weight of worry by night. Her mother sits by Adya’s side, holding her little hands and trying to hide her tears when Adya says:
“Mama, will the doctor fix my heart soon?”
The truth is, if this surgery doesn’t happen on 14th May, the hospital has said the next date will be two years later.
Two whole years — too long for a child whose heart is already struggling. Too long to risk what little strength she has left.
Can you imagine being a parent and knowing that help exists — but you can’t reach it because of money?
💔 No parent should ever have to choose between survival and poverty. 💔 No child should ever have to wait in pain because of a price tag.
🙏 Today, Dil Se Mehek is requesting from the depths of our hearts — please help us save Adya. Even the smallest donation can become part of a miracle.Even the smallest act of kindness can give this little girl the life she deserves.
🩷 Let’s not let time run out. Let’s give Adya a healthy heart — and a future full of hope.
Please donate, share, and help us reach ₹1,00,000 before it’s too late.Because every child deserves to run, laugh, and grow up.
Because every heartbeat matters.
