My baby girl is only 4 Years old, but she has suffered enough for a lifetime. She cries all the time now – even when her weak little body does not have enough energy for it. The swelling in her ear is causing her that much pain. She cannot sit up or even lay on her side. I cannot bear to see her suffering.” - Chanda, mother

Arushi is suffering from Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) is a condition that occurs when the body produces too many Langerhans cells in the skin, lungs, and bone, in particular. In LCH, immature Langerhans cells may clump together and begin to form tumors called granulomas. LCH is described as single-system disease or multisystem disease.

In order to beat this deadly disease, she will need a total of 2 cycles of chemotherapy.

We still cannot believe that such a small baby has cancer. Nobody in our family ever had cancer. God could have given it to me instead. Why did our innocent baby have to go through this?” asks chanda, as tears flow freely down his face.

Last month, Baby Arushi was having breathing troubles for many nights altogether. Her mother, Chanda, noticed that she even looked like she was suffocating. This poor labourer is running out of time and money to save his baby. Her father working in fields so that Chanda and arushi can manage their stay in Delhi.

Both mother and daughter is living in a shelter home outside AIIMS Hospital. Her father is a daily wage labourer and the sole earning member of his family. Chanda is  a housewife, who is completely devoted to taking care of and raising her child Arushi.

Please do come forward and support the mother so that she can get the treatment on time. The child is getting treatment at AIIMS but  medicines , injections and other consumable during chemo has to bear by the family.

Treating dovtors has given the estimation of Rs.1.5 Lacs. She is getting better day by day but she needs our support so that she can continue to gt her treatment. You can speak to the mother( Chanda )  @ 9205981960.

As with all daily wagers, the family was never able to save enough money for the future. Whatever he got was never enough for the present. But now, with his daughter getting cancer, he finds himself in a very difficult position – both mentally and financially.

“I never cared about money. I were happy with whatever little we had. We did not have many wishes or hopes in life. But saving my daughter is something I cannot compromise on… I want her to live at any cost. But I do not have the means to save her either.” - Chanda.
