Prince is a brave 9-year-old boy from Patna, Bihar, who is currently staying in Noida with his family while undergoing treatment for cancer in his leg at AIIMS Delhi. At an age when Prince should be playing with friends and enjoying his childhood, he is fighting a painful battle that requires regular chemotherapy and medical investigations. His father is a daily-wage labourer. Since Prince’s chemotherapy sessions began, he has had to leave his work to stay beside his son and take him to the hospital for treatment. Without a regular income, the family is struggling to manage their basic needs as well as the expenses connected to Prince’s treatment.
The family is receiving important support at AIIMS. Bed and doctors’ charges are being provided free of cost, but not every medical requirement is available immediately through the hospital. Some chemotherapy medicines need to be purchased from outside, while blood tests, CT scans, and MRI investigations can involve long waiting queues and may sometimes not be available when urgently needed. For Prince, waiting is not always an option. His chemotherapy sessions need to continue on time, and the family needs financial support to arrange the medicines and investigations whenever they are unavailable or delayed at the hospital.
His father has already sacrificed his only source of income to care for his son. Today, the family is depending on the kindness of people who can stand with them during this difficult journey. DSM appeal to you to support Prince’s cancer treatment. Your contribution can help his family arrange chemotherapy medicines, blood tests, CT scans, MRIs, and other essential treatment-related expenses so that his treatment does not stop because of a lack of money.
Prince is only 9. He deserves the chance to fight cancer and return to the childhood he has been missing. Please come forward and help him continue his treatment. Every contribution can make a difference.
